Sealife by Starlight
The Party: The South Carolina Aquarium hosted their seventh annual Sealife by Starlight party, an “undersea” affair benefitting the Sea Turtle Care Center. With glittering, all-white decor, the Aquarium’s main building was utterly transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland. Guests enjoyed a vast array of sweets and small bites catered by The Boathouse at Beach Inlet, Hank’s Seafood, and Grace & Grit and danced to live music from ecclectic local band Two 3 Ways against the magical backdrop of exotic sealife. The party proved an unforgettable event as attendees were invited to mingle throughout the Aquarium, explore various exhibits, and get an up-close look at the Sea Turtle Care Center for which funds were raised. Highlight: The tank-side dancefloor where partygoers boogied alongside aquatic creatures of all kinds Overheard: “I feel like the Little Mermaid in ‘Under the Sea!’” Beneficiary: The Sea Turtle Care Center at the South Carolina Aquarium
